Paesaggio Mentale 62 is an explosion of opposing forces, an unstable balance between light and darkness, between expansion and rupture. Yellow dominates the background like an incandescent glow, an energy that seems to engulf everything, while black seeps in like a crack, a wound cutting through space. Red twists, a living line that pulses like moving blood, a restrained emotion seeking release. Suspended forms, fragments floating in the void, as if the landscape were dematerializing, as if reality were on the verge of crumbling. There is a sense of unresolved tension, of transformation in progress, of something breaking apart to make way for a new vision.
